MANAGING AND PROMOTING CULTURAL DIVERSITY
For the first time in our history, businesses are encountering up to five generations in the general population and a multitude of divergent cultures. Cultural Diversity training denotes and clarifies: cultural, socio-economic, religious, gender, ethnic, race, nationality, special needs, and political differences in the workplace. Diversity is presented as a benefit rather than a liability while considering acceptable and unacceptable behaviors. Participants learn to respect and appreciate differences. Thus, the workplace can become a non-threatening and inclusive environment drawing upon the talents of everyone.
Workplace Violence training has become one of the fastest growing needs areas for staff development and training in recent years. Our training focuses on a team approach to violence prevention with an emphasis on risk assessment, planning and intervention. This includes , early warning signs recognition, and programmatic developments to assist in prevention of violent acts. Additional insights are offered relative to: harassment, threatening and intimidation as well as assaults and domestic violence spilling over into the work place.
Sexual Harassment trainings teaches participants to identify the many forms of sexual harassment while providing strategies to avert consequences. Participants will recognize various forms of sexual harassment pertaining to male, female and LGBT harassment. Acquisition of interactive social skills taught in this session can avert potential lawsuits and establish a more productive work space.
EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Effective communication denotes all forms of human expression. This includes: talking, listening, writing, verbal and non-verbal actions. An effective workplace requires effective and efficient communication. This training provides access to a set of skills that help participants more efficiently exchange thoughts, ideas, and expressions.
